Nasc, the Irish Immigrant Support Centre, will be hosting ‘Your Ireland, Your Vote’ Voter Registration Open Day in Cork City Hall’s Concert Hall on Monday 8th February from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event is the last chance for Irish citizens to register to vote in time for the upcoming General Election (please bring ID).

 

 

Visitors from Sweden: Next Sunday we welcome visitors from the Lutheran Church in Sweden to our parish. Very Revd. Christofer Lundgren (Dean of Strängnäs Cathedral) will be the guest preacher at our service in St. Luke’s Church. He will also be attending the service in Holy Trinity Church in Frankfield. We will also welcome Mrs Agneta Gustavsson and Mrs Marianne Thor, who are both members of the Bishop’s Council in the Diocese of Strängnäs.

 

 

Help Needed: This year the Cork City World Day of Prayer Service will be held in St. Luke’s Douglas, on Friday 4th March at 11am.  One or two people are needed to link with the other church representatives to make the arrangements.  Contact Rev. Hazel
