Today Lucy Smith (daughter of Lyndon and Sinead) will be baptised in St. Luke’s Church, Douglas and Matteo Mark Ciere son of Ruth and Ricky will be baptised in Holy Trinity Church, Frankfield. We welcome these two young children as they begin their journey with God.

On Sunday 20th September, Frankfield Parish is holding a Cake Sale and Raffle after the morning service in aid of church funds. Parishioners are invited to attend the 10.00am service in Frankfield and enjoy some fellowship afterwards. Donations for raffle would be appreciated.
Following the summer break, Blackrock Lunches (on the last Wednesday of each month) resume on September 30th at 12.30pm in the Old Schoolhouse on Church Road. All are welcome to a nutritious three course meal for a donation of €7. As usual there will also be a sales table.
There will be Sunday School in Douglas this month on 13th, 20th and 27th September. All parents are asked to fill in the form provided so that they can enrol their children in Sunday School this year. Sunday School happens each Sunday in Douglas with the exception of the first Sunday each month and school holidays. All children are welcome. Parents of pre-school children must accompany them. Sunday School also takes place regularly in Passage and Frankfield too. Please talk to the clergy or Sunday School teachers if you want more information.
St Mary’s Church Doneraile, in the Mallow Union of Parishes, will be holding a youth service called IGNITE! This worship experience will be help on Saturday, September 19th and while it is geared towards young people aged 12-18, everyone is extremely welcome!
