Douglas Churches Together Ecumenical Celebration For All – Methodist Prayer Garden, Ardfallen, Douglas at 7am
Holy Week. On Tuesday, 27th March at 1pm there will be short interviews with Canon Teddy O’Sullivan, Parish Priest of St. Columba’s Douglas, Archdeacon Adrian Wilkinson, Rector of St. Luke’s Douglas, Rev’d Wesley Campbell, Cork Methodist Church, Ardfallen, Douglas and Ann Barry-Murphy, Chaplain of Douglas Community School on what Holy Week means to each of them. This will take place in Douglas Village Shopping Centre. Please come and support.
There will be a Christian Aid Information Evening on Christian Aid Week 2018 on Friday, 6th April at the Gateway Centre (Bandon Methodist Church), St. Finbarr’s Place, Bandon at 8pm. This will be an occasion to hear about that the work of our partners for Christian Aid supporter’s, clergy, and the general public on the work in Haiti and around the world and get an update on this year’s Christian Aid Week Sheep’s Head Hike planning, etc.
Anam Cara, an organisation that supports parents after the death of a child, will host its monthly Cork meeting for bereaved parents in the Clayton Hotel (Silver Springs) on Wednesday 4th from 7.30pm-9pm.
