Dear parishioners and friends,
Today is National Services Day, and so it was good that at 3pm this afternoon, the bells from some of our churches rang out in tribute to all who serve in our services, as well as for those who continue to work on the front line in our fight against the Covid pandemic.
While I have ceased to record worship and reflections for our parish YouTube channel, we will still make contact via email each week with notices and information.
The Parish Office has now reopened on Friday mornings and next week you will receive an email from Paula Cronin, our parish secretary, which will include the September issue of Parish Matters. At a personal level it will be good to have Paula’s assistance again, as since March I have been running all the parish administration from the Rectory. Due to the current health restrictions, please do not call into the Parish Office unless you have made an appointment. Please feel free to phone and email the Office at any time. Messages will be picked up on Friday mornings.
Our services for tomorrow (6th September) are as follows:
8.30 Blackrock
9.45 Passage
10.00 Frankfield
11.15 Douglas
On Wednesday 9 September, Holy Communion will be celebrated in St Michael’s Church, Blackrock at 11.00am.
Our services for Sunday 13 September are:
8.30 Blackrock
10.00 Frankfield
11.15 Douglas
Every blessing,
Adrian
