Next Sunday Harvest Thanksgiving Services in Holy Trinity Church Frankfield at 10.00am and in St. Luke’s Douglas at 11.15am. We are looking forward to having the principal of The Church of Ireland Theological Institute, Revd Canon Dr Maurice Elliott, as our guest preacher. As a training parish for curates who are graduates of CITI, it is good to be able to have such a visit by the principal. Refreshments after both of these services. Harvests in Passage and Blackrock on 2 October.

Following the summer break, Blackrock Lunches (on the last Wednesday of each month) resume on September 28th at 12.30pm in the Old Schoolhouse on Church Road. All are welcome to a nutritious three course meal for a donation of €7.
Barry’s of Douglas are generously hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of St. Luke’s National School on Friday 30th September from 8.30am – 11am. All proceeds from the donations and the raffle will go towards the Schools Extended Play Area.
‘Harbour Sounds’. This is the title of a special concert to be held in St. Mary’s Church, Marmullane (Passage West) on Saturday 1st October at 7.30 pm. Tickets are €15 and are available from Shirley Clarke 087-2212969, Mervyn Hosford 086-3283072 and Alfie Hosford 087-2244214. All proceeds will go towards the organ replacement project in this church.
