Prepare the way! A special Advent evening service will be held in St. Luke’s Church, Douglas at 7pm. This will include candlelight, music and images projected on a screen. At the end of the service, hot chocolate with marshmallows and other refreshments will be served. All welcome.

People’s Climate March Cork will take place on Advent Sunday, meeting at 2pm, Grand Parade, Cork.
Advent Carol Service will take place in St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral at 7pm.
Music and Meditations for Advent. East Cork Choral Society and members of the Douglas/Frankfield & Passage West Church Choirs will perform in the Honan Chapel, UCC on Saturday, 28th November at 8pm.
The Parish Christmas Tree Sale will be held on Saturday, 5th December in the Canon Packham Hall from 10am – 12.30pm.
Christmas Concert will take place in Nohoval Church of Ireland on Wednesday, 9th December at 8pm.
Earl Haig Poppy Fund. Having organised the Poppy Fund in Douglas and Frankfield for many years, I would like to thank the parishioners for their generosity. It was much appreciated.
